Dear Mr. Trump,
The hatred for you is deep…very deep. I’m in awe of how relentless hate can be when it’s laser focused on its intended target. Hate is predictable, which is why it’s so easy to spot. Hate loves seeing its victim cower. Hate will try to grind the weakest into a pulp and stroll on by…ignorant of the destruction it just created.
Love…love, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. Love is unpredictable in every way it turns…which is why it’s so difficult to…well, predict. Love is much harder to accomplish because it requires two things working in tandem. Internal introspection followed by external actions of deliberate kindness.
Perhaps the invisible powers of hate have come together and decided that enough is enough. They have had too much grand standing of the Trump Train, but are resolved to chip away at you wherever and whenever possible. It seems like everyone is after a piece of you. It’s expected it from those who fundamentally disagree with you. What is surprising is when the attack comes from those inside the supposedly safe zone of your “inner circle”. Just ask Julius Caesar.
It’s no secret that you have this uncanny ability to draw out the very weakest part of any position and expose it, center stage for the whole world to see. This particular method of exploitation marks you as the type of character best suited for a boxing ring as opposed to the political one. Iron Mike is Iron Mike because of this very trait.
You called out Megyn Kelly from the shadows and placed her under the unforgiving scrutiny of your stage lights…pulling back the cleverly concealed veneer of her true political bias. This simple act revealed her to be less of a “Fair & Balanced” journalist and more of a conservative antagonist. Her popularity ratings among conservatives are permanently bruised and tarnished by the spectacle of you publicly disrobing her political prejudice.
For that one act alone, millions are eternally grateful.
You sparred with Jorge Ramos who got in the ring with you trying his very best to drag you down into a nasty round of low blows. He soon learned that he’d fair much better getting in a barroom brawl with Floyd Mayweather in Harlem than coming out of a presser unscathed by you.
The best part of your political instinct came to light when you allowed him to rejoin the room giving him his time to shine. Only someone used to being given things they haven’t earned would agree with, much less understand, the nonsense spewed out by this activist hack. Unfortunately for him, your responses resonated deeply within the ranks of the hard working populace responsible for feeding the mouths of the poor enslaved masses dependant on public assistance as a way of life.
This brings me back around to the frenemy kind of hate. You are hated by the very people who are supposed to be your party…they’re supposed to have your back. The only thing they’re currently using your back for is target practice. And yet…after all the attempts to neutralize you…there you are, still standing. How long do you think it’s going to take for them to realize you’re not stopping for them or anyone else for that matter?
When they wanted to marginalize you they called you a clown. When they wanted to take your legs out from under you they called you a racist. When they wanted to condemn you they compared you to Reagan. When they wanted to control you they sought to isolate you. When they wanted to handcuff you they created a pledge. When they wanted to embarrass you they went back to your first divorce and called you a rapist.
Now it’s my understanding that they are associating you with Hitler. I first heard this from Glenn Beck of all people…Glenn’s concern is with the tone of your speeches and pressers being very populist by nature. Of course, Glenn has become somewhat of oxymoronic clarion of sorts in these uncertain times since he himself isn’t afraid to go off the conservative script from time to time (so it’s hard to appreciate his motivation).
And now it’s come up again. It seems the Business Insider isn’t a fan of yours either. I find it funny where your opposition keeps popping up. I’ve noticed very little is written about you without them taking a disparaging hat tip in your direction. The article published Friday morning claimed that you had on your nightstand, according to a 1990 interview in Vanity Fair with your ex-wife…a book called My New Order (the sequel to Mein Kampf) containing Hitler’s speeches.
They just had to throw in a few juicy bits about your denial of ever reading it and how when you’re greeted by your cousin, John Walter visiting your office "he clicks his heels and says, 'Heil Hitler". This was somehow to illustrate the nefarious intent of your political aspirations. But hey, if you throw enough sh*t at the wall…some of it’s bound to stick.
Yes, the comparison is slimy and juvenile at best, but for those who want to hate it’s a common strategy. They attack with the seemingly worst of ones’ past because everyone knows no one can survive the truth of what it reveals about you.
Well sir, these are the thoughts of someone who’s witnessing the slow unraveling of the pathetical posers of the establishment right. Remember people only fear what they don’t understand…the establishment never understood the Tea Party/Evangelical/Conservative so their actions of hate are completely predictable.
Take heart, there’s more of us predictable ones out here than there are of them. Keep exposing the truth for what it is and know that we’re thankful that you’ve had the years of experience paying for the attentions of the political class. You know their system from the inside out (having worked it for years) and they’ve never been exposed the way you’re exposing them.
Watching from the sidelines,
Roger J Conway
